So, what sort of music are the rest of you Niamh fans in to? Well I would guess musicals and stuff, but what else?
Personally, I like practically all music, but the less mainstream the better Well, I don't mind some of the stuff that's in the charts at the moment... Mika, Duffy, Hoosiers and some of the more rocky stuff.
Also, I love folk music, both playing it and listening to it, especially celtic/roots/crossover type stuff. Favourite band at the moment is Uiscedwr, the fiddler is one of my all-time hero's, met her once but they need to do another gig down my way soon Also Seth Lakeman, Flook, Dambuskers and others.
Also classical, especially Baroque and Romantic... current favourite works:
Elgar Cockaigne Overture
Sibelius 1st Symphony
Tchaikovsky 5th Symphony
Mendhelsson Violin Concerto
Bach Well Tempered Clavier and Violin Suite in E maj - Both are to play, but complete genius, I love them
ETA: Should probably add, I play violin/fiddle, piano, viola, harp, recorders, steel pans and I sing Any other musicians here?

If your friends say you're good at singing I'm sure you can't be at all bad!
I play the flute and am sort of trying to teach myself piano.
I pretty much only listen to musical theatre - I love the old composers like Rogers and Hammerstein and Gershwin but my favourite musical by far is Les Mis. I like most musical theatre music though.
I don't know much popular music at all... most of the pop songs I know are ones that contestants on casting shows like I'd Do Anything have performed
