So I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the musicals section, but this is directly connected with I'd Do Anything, so I figured it would slot in here.
I'm seeing it tonight! I'm looking forward to it, even though I'm not exactly seeing my first choice Nancy, but I still could get Sarah Lark and the show is bound to be great anyway! Is anyone else planning on seeing it?
The show itself was great! Very enjoyable and a brilliant production. Rowan Atkinson was just brilliant, just as great onstage as on screen, and the whole cast was very strong. Jodie was good, although she didn't stand out as a hugely significant character, which I think the part could do if played differently. But then again, I'd Do Anything made me think about the kind of Nancy I'd like to see 10 times more than I would have done otherwise, and Jodie was not my first choice for the role (as you know ). Others I'm sure will really love her performance. The Oliver we saw was none other than Gwion, who I loved on the tv show! He was adorable and so sweet and I think I was a little biased because I liked him so much on tv, but he was great! The artful dodger was also fantastic and the only actor who I really wasn't thrilled about was Burn Gorman who was really not good at Bill Sykes. Apart from that, it was great and I'm sorry this is such a pointless and badly worded review!

Great to hear you enjoyed it. I totally forgot about Rowan Atkinson being in it. He is great isn't he. Not seen him on stage but i can imagine how great he would be. I wasn't too keen on Jodie either. I prefered her to Jessie (my equal favourite with Niamh at the start) but i went off Jessie more and more each week and didn't like her in the end.
