Glad your job is going well Ben! I was going to help at a charity shop for D of E a couple years ago, but decided to help in a library instead. Now that was boring My highlights ended up being hiding behind some shelves to read, or rearranging the CDs in the musicals section into the order I like them, my favourites being at the front
Between this week and next, I have a total of 5 essays to write

Yeah, i was thinking that. It's only been me and Ricky on here recently. What a nightmare.
It was actually quite fun today Ricky and i'm sure you're right Amy because someone working with me said "you'll be spending Ben" and i looked around and thought "... i won't be". Yes Ricky, i want Leeds to win because you're against Peterborough. Unfortunately for you i want you to win because you're no longer any competition for us, whereas Peterborough are. So if you could take 3 points off them please, thanks.
Duffy certainly deserves best female or whatever. Not exactly sure what she and others are up for. Coldplay were awesome live so if they're up for that, they deserve that. And my favourite albums of last year was Ode To J Smith - Travis, Viva La Viva - Coldplay, Rockferry - Duffy and The Seldom Seen Kid - Elbow. And actually out of those 4 Travis and Elbow got the best reviews. Not that that really matters either.
Hey Zippy! Thanks. Wooo, sounds good though working in a library. One says boring, i say peaceful. Essays on what Zippy? Remember, just do your best.

Typical you Ricky. You seem to think winning a brit award actually means something. Like i've said, it's an award for the most popular acts of the moment. Travis won some in 2000 and 2002 when they were popular (more popular than Duffy if you must know) and they're not at the moment. But oh, they still got great reviews for their album. Being popular means something has been marketed and promoted well. Take your face out of the commercial world and see what the world really has to offer you. It's a much more beautiful place then.
You'll probably lose against Peterborough Ricky but please try your best. At least don't embarrass yourselves this weekend, please.
Check your email Ricky, 3 Duffy tracks for you. I am good to you.

Ben - I thought I would enjoy working in a library too, but there was just nothing to do except organise books in alphebetical or number order. My essays are typed, which can seem less daunting although they take 5 times as long because I end up places like here I suppose I was asking for it, taking english history and philosophy...

Hey guys, haven't chatted for a while...homeworks have been piling on :P hope you've all been well.
What's Philosophy like? Is it like Religious studies/ethics? A lot of people in my year who took RE long course last year took philosophy this year. And essays can be daunting written or typed xD although I think written ones are worse, what with no back up copies, taking ages and all. And also the chance of a morning cup of tea splashing over it....yeah, I don't like writing
Working amongst books sound good ;) I love books. Heard that the Oxbridge libraries have all the books ever published (not sure if it's in the UK or in the world - UK sounds more likely) so if I get in, I would just happily live in the library for my undergraduate years, sucks to the degree course, lol!

Hi Katzie It's not really religious studies, as we look at a number of different theories and beliefs. It's great though - apart form the essays it's pretty much all discussion. We're looking at Plato's Republic, different interpretations of God and theories of 'being' if that makes any sense at all Like the "I think, therefore I am" type thing . The advantage of handwriting essays is that I can do it in one sitting, while when I'm typing it'll take me days.
Are you going to apply for Oxbridge then? I'm still undecided, mainly because the thought scares me so much

Well I'm hoping to get to Cambridge to do medicine, cos I'm inclining towards a medical career at the moment, but the amount of competition chances are less than 20%, apparently! But I would be happy to get in, if not only for the lifetime's worth of reading books, lol xD

Bet you were excited when we were losing 2-1 Rick but you must know by now... we're unbeatable!!! 4-2. Last half hour should have scored a couple more. 60 points now. There's only ONE team even on 50 let alone 60. Still think we won't reach 100 points? Yes, thanks for the help in beating Peterborough too. Normal service can resume next week so if you'd be so kind to lose then please.
Nice to see both Kat and Kate back on.
Gotta rush. Tea is ready.

Me and my Dad were looking at the table (it's so beautiful ) and we both said you could make the play offs.
Errr... didn't write the songs Rick so I can't answer that. That's just how long they are mate. I read that Travis' record label wanted to re-release The Man Who with 'Coming Around' on it but the band said "no" and just released it as a single. Shame Duffy didn't do the same. I bet she'll release a new album this year. Could be really great. More songs like 'Rain On Your Parade'. That should have been its first single but instead is just a Rockferry bonus track.

Hellloooo Sorry I've been crap, not coming on again! Good to see we're passed 100 pages though - time for a new thread
Kat, I want to do medicine too The competition is scary though! I'm not interested in going to oxbridge though, I don't think, is not really my thing Edinburgh will be my first choice.
Hope everyone is okay
Thread Locked.
