You're right Zippy. We're lucky to get these lovely little bits of Niamh to enjoy from time to time. That sounds like my camera. It is annoying. That's why i wanted a video camera but not a big thing, or a flashy thing. So Flip is perfect! Hmm... well, it seems like i've been waiting forever to see Niamh! 2 weeks now and the show would have just finished. I don't really have any idea when it finishes but within the last couple of hours i guess. Wow, 2 weeks. It isn't that far now!!! Dollhouse sounds like loads of other TV shows, in that it takes a little while to get going. I always find you need to give something at least 5 or 6 episodes really. House was like that when i started watching that back in 2005. I stuck with it because i've always loved Hugh Laurie! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__DrJI7mTHQ Oh and you don't write too much at all, i do.
Ricky, you don't write enough. It was an entertaining game today yes, thank you Ricky. The first half was anyway. But i wouldn't say it was a "good draw". We should be beating Derby at home and we deserved to too, but there we go, a draw isn't too bad. Hmm... that Leeds match you say you're going to go to. It keeps being pushed back doesn't it.

Ricky, but i may try and go before christmas. Hmm... no you won't. Yes, a good win for you. Not sure you deserved it though, i saw the first half on TV. Didn't see the second half though (watched Flash Forward). You're still 16 places behind Leicester!
Hi Amy! You're right, and it's less than 2 weeks now. 12 days! So excited!
Flash Forward's best episode yet. It's starting to get going now. I just hope we get answers as we get questions, otherwise it'll turn into Lost and we mystery after mystery without any answers. Hate that.

Oh you should definitely get the dollhouse dvd for Christmas! I recommend it for everyone! And I think ITV4 might be showing season 1 each week from this (or next?) Monday at 9pm Yay for more people seeing it!
Just got back from a school trip to Dublin! Twas fun, although exhausting, and the teacher leading it was so annoying, scheduling way too much (we did about 7 exhibitiony/museumy things on Monday plus a play) and being way too strict. It was good anyway though And on a related note to above, I found out that the deputy head of my school - who is amazing and I love him - is a buffy/firefly fan and has rented the dollhouse dvds to watch!
That's really good of you Ben, giving shows 5/6 episodes to get going, but I think most people give it 1 or maybe 3. It's a shame but I can understand why.

ITV 4 exists? I evidently don't watch enough TV, lol.
I got an offer from University of Warwick todayyy they ask for AAA plus grade 2 in STEP test (maths extra test...although I don't know how it's graded ) but woop, so excited. At least I got a nice backup if I don't get into Cambridge/Edinburgh

Well obviously I would say dollhouse wins against any other show but as I said, it's episode 6 that really gets into the thisisfreakingamazing territory
Well done for the offer Katzie! Warwick's a really good uni! I wasn't expecting any offers to be sent out to anyone this early, but I got an offer from University of Southampton yesterday! All I need is 34 out of 45 (their A level equivalent is AAB) which I'm pretty confident I can get! Doesn't it just feel like the real world's suddenly acknowledged your existence?
Hellooo! how's it going? Sorry I've been such a stranger! Has flu and stuff and then had too much catch up work, then went away with school so it just wasn't working! I'm on holidays with my family now but at least I have time to think
How is everyone?
Well doneeee o the offers you two! I ddn't expect them to be givng out offers so soon - I've had two reciepts and that's it!
Please excuse my baaaad typing, this keybard doesn't always react!

Woo congrats Ginger! Southampton's really popular, it seems - a lot of people I know are applying there. Same goes for East Anglia and Loughborough. And yes - I feel like I'm somebody that universities (well, one, so far ) want, lol!
Aww hope you're better Jo! Where are you holidaying (is that a word? xD)? Where've you got receipts from? I know Edinburgh sends out usernames for that EUCLID thing - which I've yet to find a use for o.O but I haven't even heard a whisper from Nottingham yet (one of my application uni's).

Hello
Enjoy your holiday, Jo!
And well done for the offers, Kat and gingerbread!
Glad uni's still going well Ricky
Just back from a school trip to a Gaeltacht (gaeltachts are basically just areas where irish is spoken as the first language). It was really good, although we all went to bed around 4 or 5 this morning then got up early again, so I'm kinda tired. We were all really hyper the whole time .Still can't seem to think properly in english now!

Hope you're feeling better Jo! I wasn't expecting anything resembling and offer so soon either, tons of people I know have heard nothing at all yet. Some unis seem to be much better organised than others. Speaking of that, I'm really annoyed at the Edinburgh system - they completely mucked up my username tracker thing so it got confused with another application and I emailed them and got no reply so I called them recently but they haven't got back to me when they said they would, even though the person said the confusion could have affected their consideration of my application in general. Grr
I don't think any of the scottish unis give out offers for months, except Edinburgh which give out a very small number in november/december before holding the rest for ages AFAIK! It's so stressfull. Umm Kat, I've heard from Edinburgh and Glasgow so far. So well done yous for getting offers so soooon
Amy, I know the feeling, I just came back from France with the school and I keep thinking in French...confusing much
Kat I'm holidaying in Dubai, Loving the sunshine
What have you all been up to? Is it your october holidays atm?

Sorry everyone. I'm suffering at the moment. Not very well. *cough cough* Ow, ow, that hurt my throat.
Well done to Kat and Zippy. Very pleased for both you of. I wish you both all the very best.
Nice to hear you had a good trip Amy. Is your Irish so good you start thinking in Irish? Sorry if that's stupid. Remember when Ricky thought we were talking about an accent rather than a language! Very nice. Love you Dicky. Well...
Jo, if i was in Dubai, i would be shouting it from the roof tops. 2 problems with that though. 1) My throat won't currently allow me to shout. 2) The roof tops are far too high up! Have you seen the Burj Dubai? I'd love to see that!!!!! http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... Height.png Have a great time!
lol Ricky, why's it shocking that Jo has Internet in Dubai?! If they can build buildings like that one above, they probably have Internet access! How is Uni Ricky? Hope it's going well. Packing for holiday? It's only one night in London. Pack a few little things on Thursday night. One week until i see Niamh. Unbelievable. Can't wait!
You lost today Ricky! Your first loss of the season. You only went 12 games unbeaten. Tut tut tut. We went 23 last season. You're doing very well though.
*off to bed*

Aww, that's horrible Ben- hope you get better soon
Wow- Dubai! Have a great time!
Haha I'd forgotten about the accent/language thing. That was funny Don't worry though Ricky- I've met people who've thought the same thing despite actually living in Ireland.
Haha no Ben- my irish really isn't good- it's just whenever you've spoken it more than english for a couple of days and heard it being spoken by other people, it sort of gets into your head. The thinking-in-irish mode is wearing off a bit today, but I'm hoping it will last until monday at least because I'm doing work experience at an irish medium primary school next week and the eight year olds will probably be a lot more fluent in it than I am

Wow Jo! I hope you have a great time!
Ben ~ Get better soon :(
Amy ~ I had the same thing when my family and I went to France I thought of certain nouns in French for a while cos I had to use some (very garbled and terrible) French to get around whilst on holiday, being the only French-speaker in the family xD I didn't realise Irish is a language! :O I'm terrible - sowwy :(
